As regards the chartering of H,M.S. "JUNG ON" the vessel is Chinese owned and was lying idle at Hong Kong when she wan commandeered by the Hong Kong Government,
The vessel was handed over by the owners the Tang On 8.8. Company, and the question of a reasonable sum to be paid for the vessel was left to a later date owing to the emergeney at the time.
14. It is proposed shortly to convene a meeting of representatives of the Colonial fiarbour Authorities, the Admiralty and the owner to consider a reɛsonable gun for the period during which the Hong Kong Goverment employed the vessel, and it is further proposed to use this as a basis for considering the charges for the period the vessel is kept in commission.
15. Full particulars of "TUNG ON" are given in enclosure No. 3 to my submission No. 188/003/2 of lat kay 1925.
