Situation at fouth dhinese Ports,

The enclosed reports are submitted in

sontimation of ny submission ib. 262/063, dated the 25th

June,

1925.

The situations in the several Fouthern

Chinese ports have generally inmoved, but they are far

from antisfactory and riota and nob law may be expected in

several placer at the slightest provocation.

At yrs at loslly all the Fest River ports and

from Hainan all women and children have been evacuated and

the male foreign population alone rensin.

Taken individually the situations at the

several porte may be summarised as under.

present time with a wave of anti-foreign agitation sweeping
