With reference to your letter of the 31st
January last, No.45489/1921, enclosing correspondence
with the Governor of Hongkong, relative to the
exemption from assessment for Military Contribution,
of the revenue arising from the proceeds of certain
returned and obsolete atores, I am commanded by the
Army Council to enclose herewith a copy of a letter
which has this day been addressed to the Treasury
on the subject.
