I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter
of June 5th enclosing a Memorandum approved by the Government
regarding action to be taken by the Trustees of the German Missions in Bangkeng.
On instructions received from the Lord Bishop
of the Diocese I write to ask whether further explanations
can be added to the final paragraph of the Memorandum No.9, defining more fully the proposals for another trust to
administer the property of the Basel Kission, and making it
clear that the new Trustees will include representatives of
the Basel. Kissien, and shall held effise pending the disposal of such pertions of the property of the Hission as are not required for the work of the Mission in the Colony,
and to safeguard the interests of the Hakka Congregation
and other dependents of the Mission,
I shall be much obliged if you can let me
have an early answer as the Trustees hepe to meet to-morrow Tuesday, afterneen for a final session before the Bishop
of the Viscose begins his tour.
