I have the honour to inform you that I have granted to Inspector Albert Frederick Purden of the Hongkong Police Force a pension at the rate of £221. 13s. 4d. per annum, and that the Crown Agents have been requested to make payment to him as it becomes due.

Inspector Purden has been granted five

months' leave of absence, commencing on the 27th June, 1925, and terminating on the 26th November, 1925, prior to retirement. His leave certificate was forwarded to you in

my despatch No.272 of the 25th June, 1925.
