As it is intended to preserve the old city walls the erection within their confines of the proposed Hospital would in no way interfere with the Town Planning Scheme. Furthermore it would not, on account of its
associations, be well to make use of or to sell this site for other than a public purpose such as this. The local Chinese community are much in favour of the scheme and if approved there are ample funds available from the Kowloon City Hau Wong Miu (temple control) for the building.
