Offices we have pleasure in informing you that as will be seen from the enclosed copy of a letter which we have today handed to the Manager of the Chinese Telegraph Administration at Hongkong, the Companies have decided to revert to monthly accounting with the Hongkong Office beginning with the present month. The Companies are fully aware that the steps which they found it necessary to take in order to ensure payment of their accounts have caused a considerable amount of trouble and inconvenience to all parties concerned, and it therefore gives them great satisfaction which we have no doubt will be equally shared by you, to be able to remove all restrictions on the acceptance of traffic from South
