Referring to Colonial Office Despatch No.271
of the 3rd September, 1924, I have the honour to forward a copy of a letter received from the Under Secretary to the Government of the Federated Malay States regarding the apportionment of the pension awarded to Mr. E. A. Irving, late Director of Education in this Colony.
If the ruling referred to in paragraph 3 of Colonial Office Despatch Ceylon No.667 of the 15th November, 1922, is to be adopted generally the apportionment between 22 the two Governments is as follows:-
