REC? ER 20 Mar 24 Following from all the unofficial members of Executive Council and the Legislative Council begins:-
We are forwarding you a despatch strongly recommending that His Excellency Sir Edward Stubbs be continued in his present position for a further period of 6 years.
We venture to think that we have presented
in it unanswerable reasons for our request which we are
certain will be dndorsed by all sections of the community in the Colony and which we earnestly hope will be acceded to by you. ends.
