Dear Sir Gilbert Grindle,

OXFORD STREET, W.1.

24th March

1924.

I have this morning heard from Dr.Bostock Hill who was lately County Medical Officer for Warwickshire, and has, for

I en- many years, been a member of the National Council. close a copy of his letter herewith.

He has also sent me

a copy of the Report. As you see, he says that the evidence is being kept as confidential out there but the Report is apparently in circulation. I conclude, under the circum- stances, that the Colonial Office can take no exception to my showing the Report to the members of our Committee.

I should also like to send you a copy of the Memorandum which has been circulated to the members of the deputation that are waiting on Mr.Thomas tomorrow. You will see the lines along which it is proposed to go and I also enclose a draft of the Memorandum on the Relationship between Venereal Disease and Regulation.

I think it would be really helpful to the Colonial Civil Servants if a Memorandum on somewhat similar lines could be circulated for their information. This also we shall raise at the deputation tomorrow.

Yours sincerely,

Shuvilis

General Secretary.
