I have the honour to enclose all the
communications with the H.B.M.Consuls in regard to my British Subject being casted off and all sorts of troubles
in regard to my life and properties arisen therein.
I have nowhere to redress my grievance, therefore I am forced to explain before you and ask your kindness to assist me on the matter as I am now in a dangerous position because China is in his rebellious time and am no nationality without protection
to my life and property.
I hope you will be kind enough to take pity
