E-I-II. Police–Under this head should be charged (dis- tributed as provided below) all costs incurred directly for maintaining order or for the protection of the property against theft and other forms of depredation. E-1-11-1. Pay-Under this head should be charged
the pay of officers and men of the police force. E-1-10-2. Allowance-Under this head should be charg- ed house, travelling and other allowances, special rewards, &c. paid to officers and men of the police force.
E-1-11-3. Uniforms and Equipment-Under this head should be charged the cost of all uniforms, arms and equipment for the police force and the maintenance of same.
E-1-11-4. Sundries—Under this head should be charg- ed all expenses not provided for in any of the above heads.
NOTE-Watchmen should not be included under

第一節 (用-1-12-1) 附屬學校 凡因路事需要 而設之附屬學校或所辦之他種教練事務 所有教員學生薪金津貼房租發光導熱等 費保管房屋費傢具裝設品儀器書籍地圖 教育器具等費及其他相類之教育費均應 列入此目
第二節(用-!-12-2)教育捐助金 凡鐵路因辦 理鐵路員司子弟之學校所用之經費以及 鐵路對於員司子弟所就學公衆設立之學 校予以維持之捐欸均列入此節
附註一 凡路員由主管路局送入交通部鐵路管 理學校或其他鐵路學校者其薪金公費

expenses. E-I-12-2. Educational Contributions. Under this head should be charged the expense incurred by the railway in maintaining schools for the children of railway employees; also, contributions to societies main- taining schools at which children of railway employees are instructed,
