The proceedings of the Medical Board assembled at the Civil Hospital, Honghong, on the 26th May, 1924, for the purpose of examining and reporting upon the present state of health of P.C.A.No.144 Fred. E. Peck of the Police Department.
President
Members.
Dr. J. B. Addison.
Dr. C. W. McKenny.
Dr. A. G. H. Severn.
The Board having assembled proceeded to estimine of P. C. A. No. 144 Fred. E. Peck and found that almost since his arrival in the Colony he has suffered from dyspeptic symptoms and has lost weight.
He has received much treatment which included a surgical operation, prolonged rest in hospital and light duty. Consultations with four practitioners have been held but no serious improvement has resulted. An exploratory operation has been suggested but the patient is unwilling to have this performed.
The man is unfit for duty and further treatment does not seem to promise relief in any reasonable period.
The Board therefore recommend that he be invalided.
