Referring to my despatch No.299 of the 25th July and your telegram of the 6th September, 1924, I have the honour to inform you that I have granted to Mr. Robert Gardner McEwen, Senior Sanitary Inspector, a pension at the rate of £222. 99. 4d. per annum. The usual statement of particulars is enclosed and the Crown Agents have been requested to make payment accordingly.
As regards Mr. McEwan's service before and
after he joined the Royal Naval Yard Police in this Colony I would refer you to Colonial Office despatch No.218 of the
12th July, 1912.
