Jugust, 1917, the dates in my case being : birth 21.2.1893, embarkation 16.10.1919, and examination 15.4.1919.
On 5th October,1921 I was informed by letter from the Colonial Cecretary's office that my salary was adjusted by allowing me à double increment from the date of my passing my accond examination in Cantonese, As this adjustment now appears to be inadequate, I beg to request that a new ad- justment be made in accordance with the above quoted promise in the prospectus of the Reconstruction Scheme of Selection.
