I have the honour to report that I have granted to Mr. E. A. de Carvalho, Cashier, Treasury, Hongkong a pension at the rate of £400 per annum with effect from the 1st of October, 1924, and that the Crow Agents for the Colonies have been instructed to issue payments to him as
they become due.
Mr. Carvalho has been granted five months' leave of absence, commencing on the 1st of May, 1924, prior to retirement. The usual leave certificate is enclosed,
