I am directed to acknowledge the receipt of Colonial Office letter of 21st Instant, No.7459/1924

intimating that the Secretary of State for the

Colonies has decided on the recommendation of the

Elder Brethren to offer the appointment of Light House Keeper at Hong Kong to H. Fishburn now Assistant Keeper at Flatholm Light House.

The Colonial Office letter addressed to Fishburn has been transmitted to him and arrangements

have been made for his relief next week.
