Priss Farmer knew no Greek when she came to the Bollege and only decided to take Classical Honours in her second year, and her final

therefore sufficient proof both of industry and ability. She took a genuine interest in her work and towards the end of her career advanced rapidly and both in translation and composition often showed intelligent appreciation of style and sub- ject matter. She is therefore qualified to teach "Classics up to the standard usually required in schools, and she will, I believe, be able to excite the interest of her pupile.
