the 8th instant to investigate the wacounts of the ïostal Agency at
Canton. I returned to Hongkong on the 59. Fatshan which arrived at

informed me that there should be stamps, postal matter, etc. or cash
to the amount of $11,637.33; and the Superintendent of the loney Order
Office also stated that there should be cash or unpaid money ordɔre to
the amount of $2,141.25, making together a total sum of £13,778.68.
