I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of a memorandum on the subject of the Eastern Extension and Great Yorthern Telegraph Companies' affairs in the Far East, which you left with Mr. Campbell of the Far Eastern Department on May 2nd.
2. The matters mentioned in this memorandum have already been brought to my attention by the Eastern Extension Telegraph Company and it will probably be sufficient for the present if I enclose for the information of the Danish
Government copy of a letter from the Foreign Office te
