CODICIL TO THE WILL OF SIR ELLIS KADOORIE

  1. SHOULD any dispute arise between the said CHEUNG U PUI, YEE KENG CHAN and DORA ELLIS or any of them as to whether they should have the use and enjoyment of the said premises or receive the rents and profits, such dispute shall be referred to my Trustees whose decision shall be final and binding in the matter and shall be accepted by the said Cheung U Pui, Yee Keng Chan and Dora Ellis or such of them as shall be parties to the dispute. Should the said Cheung U Pui, Yee Keng Chan and Dora Ellis or any of them refuse to be bound by such decision, the party or parties refusing to be bound by such decision shall forfeit all and any benefit derived under this Codicil. AND after the death of the said Cheung U Pui, Yee Keng Chan and Dora Ellis, I DECLARE that the said premises shall sink into and form part of my Residuary estate. AND I BEQUEATH to the said Leung Fung Kam during the remainder of her life an annuity of Two thousand four hundred Dollars to be paid to her from the time of my death by equal monthly payments of Two hundred Dollars free from legacy duty.

IN WITNESS whereof I, the said Sir Ellis Kadoorie, have hereunto set my hand this Twenty-eighth day of April One thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.

SIGNED and ACKNOWLEDGED by the above-named Sir Ellis Kadoorie as a Codicil to his last Will dated the Twenty-eighth day of April One thousand nine hundred and twenty-one in the presence of us present at the same time and who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses:
