125. Governors are to furnish every Officer proceeding on leave of absence with a duplicate of the Certificate above mentioned: and an absent. Officer must produce such certi- ficate to the Crown Agents for the Colonies in order to receive his salary. A third copy of the Certificate should be transmitted by the Colonial Government direct to the Crown Agents for the Colonies when the Officer's salary is to be paid through them, with instructions to iss the salary accordingly, as it becomes due.
130. On arriving in his country, the Officer on leave must report bis arrival by letter to the Colonial Office and the Crown Agents for the Colonies mentioning the place of his residence, and he must similarly notify any subsequent change of residener.
