the period between January and November 1921 when I was

myself absent from the said Colony on leave in England.

4. From my knowledge of and acquaintance with the said

Walter Guthrie Erwin I am able to anű úo state that he is of

good character and in every respect fit to become a Subject

of the British Empire and I feel certain that if permitted

to become such a subject he will always remain loyal to His

Britanic majesty. I am enabled to make the foregoing

statements owing to the fact that I have for many years been

in personal contact with the said Walter Guthrie Erwin. AD I make this solem Declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true anu by virtue of the provision s

of the Statutory Declarations Act 1835.
