University(ies) Council(s) desires Secretary of State for the. Colonies to accept responsibility for future staff appointments and I strongly support ?the request.
A lecturer and tutor in English to arrive in September is urgently required. Full particulars to be obtained from Registrar Teesdale Mackintosh care of Barclay's Bank No.403 Holloway Road whose local knowledge might be useful to the candidate or otherwise. Candidate must be unmarried and some slight amendment of the conditions of service were sent to the Registrar by the mail leaving on the 16th May.
