My Lord Duke,

I have the honour to report that have

granted Inspector Edward Browne, Hongkong Police, a pension at the rate of £270 per anmm with effect from the 7th of June, 1923, and that the Crown Agents for the Colonies have

been instructed to issue payments to him as they become due,

Inspector Browne has been granted three

months' vacation leave, commencing on the 7th March, 1923,

prior to retirement. The usual leave certificate is

enclosed.
