FASTER" AVIATION DEVELOPMENT.
Further to my conversation with vou of October
24th in regard to the above, I now enclose a copy of my suggested scheme, as well as a copy of the letter which I have sent with it to the Colonia) Secretary, Singapore.
I hope that this letter will explain my ideas on the subject fairly fully, and if you consider that the scheme is worthy of your notice, I should consider it a grant favour if you could see your way to coneulting the Government of the Straits Settlements in regard to it.
Mr. Baddely (of the Straits Government) informed
me that upon receipt of my letter and enclosures, they would if they thought fit, communicate with you on the subject.
Owing to the fact that the Rajah of Sarawak is
at present in England, I shall hope to receive a favourable reply from you at your early convenience.
