(Rs.6,000 : fees and private practice). Reports. Administrator Logan :- "A capable, man, and one who can be thoroughly relied upon *.
Governor O'Brien:- "An excellent administrative officer and deserving of promotion".
Governor Fiennes :- "The work of this officer is
consistently good. He is thoroughly conscientious, loyal and active in his duties, Has justly earned promotion by sound work over a long period of service
in this Colony and would do well anywhere*.
Governor Fiennes :- "The work of this officer is
consistently good. He is a clever surgeon and conducts
the administration of the Hospital as well as possible
with the means at his disposal which are totally
at £700 -£800, inadequate. He obtained promotion in Tanganyika +
Territory, but changed his wind when the pay for attendance at the Royal Naval Wireless Station was
granted if this is stopped he should certainly be
recognised for promotion, He is loyal and conscientious".
Sir E. Fiennes (in a private letter to Major Purse) :-
"A very clever surgeon and good general practitioner:
his administrative work is first rate".

Administrator Petrides :- "Dr. Addison is a
thoroughly dependable officer whose work has been
consistently good, He has earned the thorough approbe-
tion of Colonel O'Brien and Sir Eustace Fisines. He
refused a transfer to Tanganyika in 1920. Since then the
closing of the Royal Wireless Station has caused him a
loss of £100 a year and the depreciation of the rupes has
substantially affected the value of his post here. I trust it may be possible to offer him promotion in the near future. He is & very good Surgeon and excellent
Administrator".
