Mr. Alexander White was, during two years, Pupil Teacher
in Dunmanway Model School, under my supervision.
I had ample opportunity of estimating his character and aptétude in the teaching profession, and during an extended exper- ience.-nearly half a century I never met his superior.
I always found him truthful,well-conducted, and industrious. He seemed to have a talent for teaching, was very studious, and pass- ed all examinations creditably, I have learned that his course through the Training College was equally successful, and shall be much disappointed should he, in any position to which he may aspire, fail to do credit to himself and benefit the community.
