With reference to your letters of the 18th and 19th of December, 1922, relative to the vacant appointmente of Professor of Medicine and Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering respectively, at Hong Kong University, I an directed by the Duke of Devonshire to transmit to you a copy of a telegram from the Governor of Hong Kong on the subject, and to request you to inform the Board of Educa- tion that the appointment of Professor of Medicine is being offered toğr. J.Anderson on the terms indicated in your letter of the 18th of December.
