Sir,
I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your
letter of February 4th 1920. anclose herewith a copy of the
result of the liquidation of Messrs. Jebsen & Co. From this
it would appear that you were a creditor of that Company to the
extent of D.11,869,67. In December 1919 the Official Receiver
paid in to your credit D.2500.- being dividend due on the
liquidation of the China Light & Power Co's old shares, of which
amount 1 was deducted for the Custodian's fee. I would refer you
for farther information to Article 297(b) and to clause 4 of the
Annex to Article 298 of the Treaty of Versailles,
