10. With regard to the general question, the Amy Council in its letter of the 30th June, 1921, agreed that the British battalion should be placed at Gun Club Hill and that the native troops should be moved from the Whitfield site to the Shutin Pass area. This Goverment is anxious to press on the construction of the necessary barrack accommodation at the earliest possible date, and it would expedite natters if Colonel Davy could be authorised to discuss with the Director of Public forks details as to land and buildings required.
