Adverting to Treasury letter of the 3rd December,
r,1913,
(22662/13), I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of His
Majesty's Treasury to transmit herewith a copy of a letter which
They have received from the Chartered Bank of India, Australia
and China, relative to the proposed allocation of the Bank'
note issue between the several Branches in the Government.
My Lords are disposed to agree to the allocation
proposed but before communicating with the Bank They would be
glad to be informed whether Mr. Secretary Churchill sees any
objection.
