My Lord Duke,
I have the honour to confirm Mr. Severn's telegram of October 30th announcing the death of Prison Tarder H. D. Hoare on October 26th.
He was admitted into the Goverment Civil Hospital on the 9th October, suffering from fever, and at first progressed favourably, but then showed signs of general blood poisoning.
On October 26th he showed signs of pulmonary
embolism, and died on the same day.
His general condition had not given rise to any serious alarm till the pulmonary condition suddenly set in on the day of his death,
A letter of condolence has been sent to Mre.
Hoare, the mother of the docensed officer.
