No.1 in 5197/1911.
gir,
Colonial Secretary's Office,
Hongkong
18th August, 1922.
With reference to your letter No.D.430 of
the 14th July, 1922, I am directed to inform you that the plan forwarded in my letter of the 29th June, 1922, is the correct plan to accompany the Memorandum of Exchange of land at the Arsenal Yard and that the Eastern Boundary of the Admiralty Property as indicated thereon will coincide with the line of the new road.

accompanies the Memorandum. The former small scale plan is
only intended to illustrate the Ordinance and cannot be
taken as indicating in accurate detail either the areas to
be exchanged with the Admiralty or those to be allotted to
participators in the Scheme. The correct plan is on the
scale of 80 feet to 1 inch and is attached to the Memorandum
of Exchange.
3.
With reference to paragraph 3 of your letter
this Government is willing to add to the conditions of the
exchange, that subject to any change of positions of the
buildings to be re-erected not involving any additional cost
beyond that which would be incurred in re-erecting them on
