1, LOUISE HENRIETTA KUPSCH née GUIGNARD of 28 Jessfield
Road, Shanghai make oath and say:-
1. I am by birth of French nationality.
2. I was married to Friedrich Wilhelm Richard Kupsch,
a German Subject, and produce certificate marked "A" in proof of such marriage.
3. My said husband died on the 11th November 1916 intestate. I produce certificate marked "B" in proof of such death and a certificate marked "0" in proof of his intestacy and that his property is by law divisible between me and my children in the ratio of one quarter to me and three quarters to the children.

I have three children who are all infants and I am their natural and lawful guardian.
5. I intend to resume French nationality but cannot do so until I am able to return to France.
6. I am under French protection and hold a passport issued to me by the French Consul General in Shanghai on the 19th July, 1920.
7. I am unable at present to return to France for lack of funds and shall be quite unable to do so unless
the property of my late husband now subject to a charge under the Treaty of Peace of Versailles is released from such charge.
8. I am heavily in debt. Particulars of my indebtedness
