In the United States, the light lorry has been brought to a high degree of efficiency, but attention has only recently been devoted to heavy motor vehicles. Motor 'bus services, particularly, are in a comparatively early stage of development in the United States.
It is important to note that British Motor Lorry Manufacturers are able to turn out their products at a reasonable figure: e.g., the Dennis 3-ton lorry, c.i.f. Hongkong, is priced at £1,091.0.0. and the Dennis 30 cwt. chassis at £776.0.0.
