Duration of Treatment.
Several months are required to produce definite improvement, while at least a year is generally necessary before the tubercular or anaesthetic lesions completely clear up. H long it is necessary to continue the treatment to prevent recurrence is not yet known. Gus results have been obtained by intravenous injections alone once or twice a week, while the .cost of the drug for a year's intravenous treatment will be only about 3 or 4 shillings, but progress is more rapid if full doses are also taken by the month,
