Evidence of Morgan blundered hopelessly as regards Green at the end of the chase. Does it not upset his evidence of identity Revolver indidant. It must have been thrown up to clear the railing. It is inconceivable that Morgan did not see him throw it. The reason he did not threw it was because he did not. The position of the revolver shows it must have been thrown from Des Voeux Road. The dent shows where the revolver fell. It must have ricker-shayed back. The dent must have been from a direct fall.
Motive that because the prisoner is a seafaring man a cook - He is not a member of the Seaman's Union but belongs to a guild running ship between here and Wuchow.
