Re-examined

I went to Mr.Brutton's office because my master asked me to

go and see a solicitor a week before. I did net go before my

master made enquiries of me. We went to tiffin because anybody

who is late would get nothing to eat.

I saw Mr.Brutton when I went to the solisitor's office. I

had not been to the office on any occasion before. I saw Mr.

Brutton. I went there about 3 times, I saw Mr.Brutton on every

time.

Foreman employed on Hongkong bank buildings. Remember 24th, February. I was working on Bank building 2nd.floor overlooking

Wardley Street. I could see the Queen's statue. I was working on the verandah outside the railing on the scaffolding. I looked down and say between 10 & 20 persons running up Wardley Street between Statue Square and Des Voeux Road. They were running 5 or 4 on the pavement 6, 7 or 8 on the road. I saw a European Han in European clothes. I can't say if he was a European. He was on the pavement. There were 2, 3 men together very much ahead of the 3rd. man who was followed by a European and whan they got to the corner of Des Voeux Road the 2 men turned to the right. They were Chinese. Of the 2 men they were not exactly abreast. The one leading was in dark clothing and he was smaller and thinner than the other man. The other the taller man in a grey suit was very much taller and as soon as they turned the corner the man in the grey suit threw something over the rail- ing into the garden. What he had thrown over I don't know. (Witness explains how it was done with the revolver and experi- ments in Court).
