FUNG CHI declared: Second Coxswain of No. 1 Fire Float.

On February 24th.about 11.30 a.m. I was on the fire float which lay off State Square, right opposite the new Pavilion, tied up to the sea wall. I heard the report of a small fire- arm and cries of "Save life". I ran up the gangway on to the Prays. Stober Lau Po accompanied me.

I heard people shouting "Chase him, Catch him.” I saw 6 or 7 people run- ning. I gave thage. I went through Statue Square, Some men ran right, and some left in Des Voeux Road.
