Dear Sir John,
435
23 November, 1921
A man called Sutton (W.R.) has beɔn to see me twice recently to ask for re-employment.
He was once
-
in Hong Kong as a Policeman and has been pensioned; it was proposed to offer him a job in Nigeria and you examined him I cannot quite make out when, but it his om request you re-examined him on the 11th of April last, and virtually reported him as unfit for service. Sutton Bays
however that since that date he has seen you, and that as a result of further examination and the opinion of his own medical attendants, you gave him to understand that if he was sent to you again you would be inclined to pass him supposing his state of health remined as satisfactory as it was then. Is his statement correct?- because, if so, it is possible that we shall re-consider him for a vacancy in Nigeria or elsewhere.
