Rev. Noel Evans favourably impressed the Committee. He

considerable service during the War and had experience

under the Army Education Scheme when he acted as Instructor

at an Army Divisional School in Egypt. His teaching exper-

ience in Civil "chools covered a period of six months only,

but he appeared to the Committee to have a clear grasp of

general principles. Mr. Tanner the representative of the

Hong Kong Education Department considered that Mr. Evans

would be suitable as a Junior Master,
