V. D. COMMISSION ENDS.
Dr. Rupert Hallam and Mrs. Neville RcHe, O.B.E., members of the N.C.C.V.D. Commission concluded their mission to Singapore last evaring, their final dis- ecurse and film display being at the Vic- toria Theatre. Every available seat was occupied a good while before the advertised time of the meeting to commence.
Dr. Hallam at the outset said that the film to be shown that night was "Damaged Goods," adapted from the well known French play, and the idea was that the film shown was to gain their interest in & aubject which was of vital importance to every member of the community. During his visit to Singapore he had been round riost of the hospitals and he found that Singapore like many other towns had many exemples of venereal disease.
The large assembly present watched with interest the screening of the film.
