I have etc. to ack. the receipt of your desp. No. 95 of the 2 Mch. forwarding for consn. and approval a Cert. of Naturalisation in favour of Mr. Helge Tarby.

  1. The amount of Mr. Tarby's residence ashore on British territory is not sufficient to justify the grant to him of a Cert. of Naturalisation at present. The encll. to your desp. are therefore returned.
  1. The question of the service on British ships of an applicant for naturalisation has previously arisen in the case of Mr. Falk, and in this connection I have to invite your attention to the S. of S. desp. No. 179 of the 16 Aug. 1918.
  1. I have also to ack. the receipt of H.0./32988/21. I am informed by the S/S for Home Affairs that on this application made in the U.K. they would feel bound to decide that...
