With further reference to your letter of the 21st ultimo (reference No. N 12572/6360/15), I am directed by the Custodian to enclose herewith copy of a letter from the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, from which you will observe the Hongkong Office of the Bank holds a balance of $1021.29 for the credit of Mr. B.P.A. Albrechtsen and presumably this is the balance referred to by the
Danish Minister.
As the money is not in this country the
Custodian is not concerned, and it is solely a matter
for the Hongkong Custodian to deal with.
