The Danish Chargé d'affaires presents hic
compliments to the secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and in pursuiance of the Note No. 336, which he had the
honour of addressing to the Marquess Curzon on October
Beth last relative to the sequestrated assets of Kr. F.G.F.
Prien and family, begs leave, in obedience to the instruct-
ions of the King's Government, herewith to transmit a copy
of the letter which that gentleman has received from the
Sub-kanager of the Hongkong & Shanghai Baning Corporation,
of 9, Gracechurch Street, London, E.C., and which proposes
certain arrangements for the liquidation of the matter
at issue.
It will be seen from the above-mentioned letter
that it is proposed to cease the payment of interest on
the assets in question as from June 30th 1914 and from
June 20th 1816. kr. priea, therefore, while expressing
in a letter addressed to the Danish authorities his general
acceptance of the terms of settlement offered by the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation, now puta forward
