I am directed by the Marquess Curzon of Kedleston
to transmit to you herewith the accompanying copy of a Note from the Danish Chargé d'Affaires No.312/T/98
of the 7th instant, together with its enclosures in original, on the subject of a claim submitted by
a certain Monsieur Jacob Bruhn for the release of money deposited by him with Mesars.Jebsen and Company
of Hong Kong.

I am to request that His Lordship may be furnished
with the observations of the Colonial office as to
the reply which should be made to this Note, and that
the documents enclosed in support of Monsieur Bruhn's
claim may be returned in due course to this Department.
