I have now received your talagrar dated 6th May, ko.727 and am referring it to Colonial Office aud War uffice but anticipate ownsiderable delay before definite desision can be obtained. In mesatima in view of your altered
opinion as to service overseas for Indian troops I would suggest »rovisional modification of your re-organisation schere for Infantry and Pioneers as in your sosund
alternative.
This wouls conform more with your proposals
in despaten ko,66 of August last by which titles of re- war units were only given to active battalions.
