(d) Section 240 of the Revenue Act of 1918 is
5 amended by adding at the end thereof a new subdivision to
6 read as follows:

"(d) A corporation organized under the China Trade
8 Act, 1921, shall not be deemed to be affiliated with any

other corporation within the meaning of this section."
(e) Section 254 of the Revenue Act of 1918 is
amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 254. That every corporation subject to the tax
13 imposed by this title, every personal service corporation,
14
and every corporation organized under the China Trade Act,
15

1921, shall, when required by the Commissioner, render a
correct return duly verified under oath, of its payments of
17

dividends, stating the name and address of each stockholder,
the number of shares owned by him, and the amount of
dividends paid to him."
SEC. 25. The Congress of the United States reserves
the right to alter, amend, or repeal the provisions of this Act
and any charter granted thereunder.
