I am directed by Anzl dærson of Kedleston to asknowledge the receipt of the India Office letter

No. k & 8. 512/81, of rebruary 24th, 1921, on the subject of the transmission of information respecting opium to

the League of Nations.

2. It is understood that the Cabinet Offices are now the proper channel for the oo-ordination of communications to the Lengua of lations emanating from the various Govern= meat Departments in this country; it is presumed, therefore, that in future the Home Office and Colonial office, as well as the India Office, will communioste direst with the Ombinet Offiess, and not with the Foreign office, on all

matters which concern the League.
